Description:
We are looking for an experienced and meticulous Automation Test Engineer (SDET) to join our quality assurance team. This role is crucial for maintaining our high standards of software reliability and involves designing, building, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks. Design and build automation test frameworks.
Automate existing tests and write new ones according to company standards.
Enhance and maintain automated CI flows.
Bug verification, tracking, and fixing.
Test preparation, design, execution, and reporting.
Handle the Defect Management Lifecycle (using Jira) from defect creation to reporting.
Track and publish the status of development, maintenance, and execution of automation test suits.
Work collaboratively with manual testers, developers, and business analysts to understand the business domain and system functionality.
Utilize approved test automation frameworks to develop automation in a fast-paced Agile environment.
2+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).
Proven experience working with BDD and Gherkin test case languages.
Ability to write tests in Java programming language.
Experience with web application testing and Continuous Integration processes.
Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA).
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Groovy, Ruby, Python).
Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
Fluent English and French language skills.
Bonus Skills:
Experience in the use of CI/CD platforms and Kubernetes.
ISTQB certification is a plus.
Knowledge of financial instruments (stocks, bonds, financial derivatives, options, ETF, etc.).
Good understanding of settlement and clearing activity (pre-trade, on-exchange, OTC).
Good understanding of the settlement and clearing ecosystem (CCP, CSD, Clearer, Broker, Custodian, Asset Manager, etc.).
Notions of the settlement cycle (match, affirm, settle, deliver, etc.).
Notions of counterparty risk management methodologies (SPAN/V@R).
Familiarity with ISO15022/20022 SWIFT standards.
This position will require:
Two days presence at our offices (Hybrid Model).
Fluency in English and French.
Portuguese fluency is a plus.
Strong functional knowledge in the financial domain (as listed above).
